2024 Scholarship Application Form and Information
Dear Students, Parents, Applicants and Friends of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) Educational Foundation:
The NAHMA Educational Foundation is once again pleased to announce its scholarship grant program for the coming year. The NAHMA Educational Foundation encourages application from any resident of an Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA) member community who is a high school senior, holds a high school diploma, or GED and intends to continue, or begin, their pursuit in higher education in the 2024 year. Higher education includes attendance to an accredited college, university, community college, trade/professional school, or institute. The invitation is open to all those eligible to apply for scholarship grants to be awarded in 2024. The NAHMA Educational Foundation is a privately funded, non-profit organization created in 1994 to further charitable and educational opportunities for residents of AHMA member communities. This will be the 18th consecutive year the Foundation has made scholarships available.
The NAHMA Education Foundation is one of only a few of its type in the nation and is proud of the impact the scholarship program has made in the lives of many students from our AHMA member communities. The funding of these scholarships has come from the continued financial support of our advocates and partners of the NAHMA Educational Foundation, and we welcome new businesses, corporations, private trusts, families or individuals to join in our efforts to support, recognize, and assist in this fundraising effort.
Please contact Dr. Bruce W. Johnson at the NAHMA Educational Foundation at (215) 262-4230 or bjohnson@tmo.com if you would like more information about either applying for a scholarship or donating to the NAHMA Educational Foundation.
Best wishes to all applicants and a very heart-felt thank you for everybody who has made this program possible.
Sincerely,
Anthony Sandoval, Chairperson.
In 2024, all NAHMA Scholarships will be worth $3,500. In each of the last 5 years, at least 90% of all applicants submitting a completed application have been awarded a scholarship.
